Take a deep breath:

If you are uncomfortable and anxious but needed to make a decision, then take a deep breath before you do anything. Deep breathing helps you to relax and slow down, thus giving you enough time to think rightly.

Apart from relaxation, meditation can also provide you a calm mind and feel less stress in your life.

Don’t react right away:

The next step after taking a deep breath is to stop reacting to the problem. When you are not comfortable, responding immediately to obstacles can be an immense mistake. You might say something you should not say or create arguments with others.

Instead, look for the cause of your feeling. Ask yourself,

What makes me think like this?
Have I done anything wrong to feel like this?

If you think you are out of control and fail to calm down during an anxious situation, shifting your attention and focusing on something else can make you calm down.

One best way to shift your attention is to focus on what you are doing. Use your senses to feel what’s happening around you. For example, use your touch feeling to observe how hard/soft an object is.
